A Woman’s Legs by Vincent van Gogh

In this video, which is the second in my new series of videos on balancing, I will lead you through a series of standing warmups done with the support of a wall or chair. Designed to support the mobility and agility of your feet, ankles, and lower legs, these simple and accessible practices are an excellent preparation for balancing poses as well as for standing poses in general. They are also a great way to warmup for other activities where you’re on your feet, such as hiking and cycling.

You can also do the sequence as a stand-alone practice anytime you want to give your feet, ankles, and calves some love. If you don’t want to practice the entire sequence, you can practice just a few of the exercises on your own or even just one that feels especially good. Enjoy!

Props needed: 1 chair or wall
