I thought you might want to know that on Thursday, August, 26 at 2:00 pm EDT | 11:00 am PDT, Barrie Risman and I will be having a live discussion on the Yoga for Healthy Aging Facebook page to talk about why we are focusing on the topic of yoga for anxiety these days and what our basic approach to teaching it is. We will also allocate some time to taking questions from our readers about anxiety and about our upcoming workshop on Saturday, August 28.

On a personal note, there is my very first video appearance ever! So this is a good way to finally “meet” me as well as Barrie. And you know what’s crazy? Although Barrie and I are now working on a lot of projects together and she was the model for my upcoming book “Yoga for Times of Change,” we’ve never actually met in person due to the pandemic. Instead, we’ve found many ways to support and inspire each other throughout the last year and half via email, Zoom, and phone calls. I’m so grateful for her friendship.
