In this variation of Triangle pose using a strap between your hands works your shoulders and arms differently, releasing muscles that normally work and working muscles that are normally relaxed. It also stretches and strengthens your legs and the sides of your waist more than the classic pose.

Is the strap syretchy, or is it a standard, cotton strap? Was experimenting with this, but I feel like I'm missing something.
