The Mini Sun Salutation is similar to a classic Sun Salutation, but skips the backbend, such as Upward-Facing Dob pose or Cobra pose. This vinyasa is an excellent way to warm up your joints, muscles, and fascia. For those who have tight hips or legs, Baxter provides some options for making the transition from Downward-Facing Dog to Lunge pose a bit easier.

My elderly students prefer the chair version. Place your hands on the seat of a chair for the forward bend, lunges and down dog. It essentially raises the level of the floor so that people don't have to bend down as far. Some of my students even manage a version of plank, shifting weight forward from down dog. It would be helpful to have photos or a video of the chair version.
