This dynamic version of Triangle Pose (Utthita Trikonasana) will challenge your balance, strengthen and stretch your legs and the sides of your waist, and strengthen your arms and shoulders. The instructions on pelvic alignment are helpful for your hips and lower back.

I am not sure why the pelvis does not tilt when doing this asana. The way it is being demonstrated is not the same as I have ever seen it done.
Although I do not bring as much attention to the shift or side tilt of the pelvis in the dynamic sequence as is sometimes brought in may modern versions of triangle, if you watch closely the hips do shift away from the direction of the pose and there is some side tipping towards the front leg happening. It can be seen in the slight shift of the leg bones back and forth. You can certainly emphasize that action more in your own practice. —Baxter
