Open and Closed by Adolph Gottlieb

I’m writing this short post today to let you know that we have decided to cancel all our online classes and to close the Online Yoga Studio. And we are currently in the process of refunding all payments that were made for individual classes or passes. (Unfortunately, the refunds may not arrive as quickly as we’d like due to how the two systems we used to set up the studio operate. For that we apologize in advance and ask your patience.)

Why are we closing after just one week? As some of you know, the first week of our soft opening didn’t go at all well because there were so many technical problems with the software product we chose for scheduling and accepting payments for classes. We concluded it was too risky to continue because we didn’t want any more students to encounter difficulties getting into classes they registered and paid for. So we’ve decided to temporarily suspend the classes and rethink what a better way to do this might be. We’re not happy about this outcome, but it has become clear this decision is the right one for now.

In the meantime, thank you so much for all your interest and support! For those of you who experienced the technical difficulties, this was certainly the opposite of what we were hoping for. While we expected some bumps might occur during the soft opening, it turned out much worse than we anticipated. For all of that, we sincerely apologize and are grateful for your understanding.

P.S. I used a kind of fun piece of art to illustrate this post to cheer myself up a bit.
